MEMORIAL COMPLEX "KURGAN OF GLORY"

The memorial complex was erectedmound of Gloryin 1967 It was timed to coincide with the twenty-third anniversary of the liberation of the city from the Nazi invaders.

The monument is a stele, forty-five meters long and a cube. A howitzer is mounted on the cubesince WWII,and next to the cube - an eternal flame burns.

Peaceful rallies, meetings with WWII veterans and internationalist soldiers, parades are held at the Mound of Glory memorial complex.
